Hello and welcome!

I’m Judie, a mixed-media artist. I picked up a paintbrush after retirement from teaching Kindergarten for 31 years. I followed my heart and played with paint. Here I am today, creating and trusting the whisperings of my soul.

I enjoy painting, art journaling, stitching and textile art. I am drawn to imperfection, scribbles, marks, personal symbols, color, botanicals, and inspiring mantras. I love the aesthetics of wabi- sabi, finding beauty in imperfection. I find inspiration from nature and my life's journey. 

My art is a reflection of my soul and journey. My art is a way for me to connect and express the stories of my beautiful, imperfect life.
